As a youngster Elie had her own ideas of how to behave in the showring and, at times, made me feel like a complete novice again. However, she finally got her act together and has many lovely wins at both Open and Championship Shows.
Highlights have been at Belfast Championship show when she won the RCC, and at the St Patricks Day Show in 2004, she delighted us by winning the Bitch Reserve Green Star and then taking Reserve BOB at only 12 months of age.
The following day she was awarded Reserve Best Bitch at the English Setter Society of Scotland Open Show at Alva. She has also won well at Open Shows with many BOBs to her credit, the first being at 14 months and a number of group places including 2 Best Gundog awards.
